The choice of a press depends on several complementary criteria:
- The force required to carry out the operation on your workpiece.
- The stroke, which must allow for the movement required by the tooling.
- The clearance height, to be determined taking into account the workpiece, the tool and their positioning.
- The depth of the swan neck, which determines access to the work area on the workpiece.
A more powerful press in this range also offers a greater stroke and a larger working area. The choice must therefore take all these characteristics into account.
