Punching and stamping on a 4.3T pneumatic press
As part of a customer project, our teams developed a made-to-measure solution for manufacturing a jumper for an electrical connection test.
The challenges were many:
-Defining precise dimensions to ensure perfect integration into the room's environment,
Determining the exact centre-to-centre distances for assembly,
-Obtaining a spherical shape to guarantee the quality of the electrical contact,
-Achieving clean, perfectly functional bending,
The solution? A single operation carried out on an EMG press equipped with special tooling:
* Bending with defined angles
* Punching the holes
* Stamping of the spherical shape at the end
The result: precious time saved, optimum repeatability and impeccable quality.
This project is a perfect illustration of EMG's ability to support its customers in defining and optimising their manufacturing processes.
